Team Tinker exceeds leaders’ goals on KC-135 depot-possessed aircraft Ray Dozier - Staff Writer As the need for KC-135s continues to span across the globe, the ability of the air logistics center to support the warfighter becomes increasingly important.When the three programmed depot maintenance facilities had 176 aircraft waiting for repair two years ago from a fleet of 546 tankers, then Air Force Chief of Staff Michael Ryan believed that was too many.
