The Tinker Rangers baseball team posted their first win of the season with an 18-2 thumping of Team Cope Reds Sunday at Lake Hefner Field.

The team was led by Caleb Cosmi, who went 4-for-5 with a home run and four runs batted in. After trailing 2-0 in the second inning, the Rangers scored 18 unanswered runs.
The Rangers got a great pitching performance from Richard Skidmore, who allowed only six hits over five innings while striking out 10 batters. Courtenay Wheeler pitched the last four innings allowing no hits while striking out two.

The Rangers (1-2) will swing back into action this Sunday against Dynasty at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College in Moore.
